The Patio Covers Band is a high-energy, family-friendly acoustic cover band based in St. Louis, Missouri, bringing you feel-good music from the 1960s all the way through today’s hits. Whether you’re grooving to a classic rock anthem or singing along to a modern pop favorite, our eclectic set list has something for everyone.

Kevin and Jody started the band while playing cover songs together on Jody's patio in 2020. Before they were next-door neighbors, each of them had individually played in multiple band groups over the years. As a former drummer turned guitarist, Kevin brings a strong musical and rhythmic talent while Jody, a St. Louis native contributes a rich history of stage vocal performance in STL and Chicago. Crystal, a solo award-winning singer-songwriter from Southern California’s Inland Empire, joined the band in January 2023. She moved to St. Louis seven years ago with her family and adds her soulful voice and West Coast flavor to the group.

Together, we blend guitars, ukuleles, layered percussion, and three-part harmonies to deliver covers that feel fresh, nostalgic, and full of life. Kevin’s signature guitar pedal collection adds color and texture to every show. Jody keeps the rhythm alive with a variety of percussion instruments, while Crystal rounds things out with her guitar, ukulele, and folk-inspired charm.

And, of course, no band practice is complete without Chewy—Jody’s loyal dog and our unofficial mascot, who keeps the vibes high and the tails wagging.
